Horseradish Cream Sauce
A tangy and creamy horseradish sauce perfect for pairing with prime rib or steak.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated fresh horseradish
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- A pinch of sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sour cream, grated horseradish, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar in a mixing bowl.
- Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well blended.
- Season with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a pinch of sugar if desired. The sugar can balance the tanginess.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
